I’ve learnt to liken the pain of startup building to waxing. It hurts while you’re doing it, but the when you’re done, it feels totally worth it.

Thankfully, my version of pain comes with a lot of amazing stories, and I can’t wait to give you all the tea!

The Garage has had a rollercoaster 2 weeks and I’d try to give you the quickest rundown possible.

5,000 Hours of Work!

We built The Garage to help our members become more productive, so every single hour of productivity we’re able to offer our users takes us closer to achieving this goal.

That is why it felt truly special to hit 5,000 total hours of work between our 250+ total unique visitors in the last 14 days.

This truly strengthens our conviction in the work we’re doing and we can’t wait to do more.

Love in the air!

Our early visitors have been amazing, I have enjoyed the community, friendship and fullness of spirit that they have brought and I love them so much.

But my love is nothing compared to the deep bonds and connections being formed between our users.

For example, here’s Praise, one of our amazing visitors, enjoying the love during one of our night sessions at The Garage.

We joined over 400 students of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka to attend LinkedIn Local UNN, a first of its kind conference, featuring tons of amazing speeches on pursuing and growing a career using LinkedIn.

I particularly enjoyed meeting you all, and introducing you to The Garage.

Still Single

Having had 9 (failed) talking stages this month, I reached the unfortunate realization that I’m really good at being single.

Being single is my super power and I’m tired of living in denial. I will now focus my energy on more productive things like hating on people in relationships.
